    Hi,

I’m using sections with IDs and I’d like to link to them in my submenu.

Unfortunately clicking a #section link goes far too low into the section so that it’s cropped by the menu bar. It looks like the height of the menu bar is not taken in consideration.

    Here’s an example of this:

    Can you help?

    Thanks,
    Eric

    Hi,

Can you provide us access to check your row settings?

    Hi,

In the meanwhile, Can you try to add some blank spacer in between the rows to adjust it? If the content it less it may act like that sometimes.

    Let us know,

    Thanks,
    laranz.

    Hey laranz,

I’ve tried adding a blank spacer but the space between the sections becomes huge and not very pleasing aesthetically.

I also noticed that there’s no problem when I use the one-page smooth-scroll anchor link type.

Can you come up with a fix?

    Hi,

I forward this to Rui, and in the mean time.

Try to add “smooth-scroll-link” to the anchor class attribute while creating the menu?

    Let us know,

    Thanks,
    laranz.

    Thanks laranz.

Unfortunately the smooth-scroll-link class attribute doesn’t work because I need to use absolute URLs.

I’ll monitor this thread to see if Rui has a solution.

    Hi there,

Unfortunately this is native browser functionality, not something we can override, only adjust after it’s taken effect. On load for me I see this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/abosuam029pvnwd/Screenshot%202015-01-30%2011.27.26.png?dl=0

    What are you expecting?

    Hi Ed,

It does work indeed when you reach the link from another page. But once on the page itself, if you use any of the section link from that page (in the sub-menu), then it scrolls to high. And then for me it looks like this:

Unfortunately that’s not possible to override (as the browser takes over). You’d need the links to be relative, not absolute. The best way round this would be to override the menu on this page with a specific menu.

    OK. Thanks Ed.
    This looks complicated.
I’ll leave things as is for now.
