    Hello,

When I updated my staging site to Neighborhood 2.05, it messed up the dimensions of the logo in our header, and I can’t figure out how to fix it. You can see how it’s supposed to look on our main site – buildandimagine.com. I’d appreciate your help.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Not sure what are you current settings for the width and height. try to remove the height value leaving only the width.

    Hi Rui,

The height is already blank; see attached.

    Hi,

I was wrong in my previous reply.
You have 2 options to fix it:

    1) Place the correct height of the logo, in your case is 111px

    2) Upload again the logo and the height will be calculated automatically.

    Give it a try.

    @ballisticone

Can you do the same? Your logo height seems to be 21px

    Hi Rui,

I re-uploaded the image and set the dimensions to 500px * 111px as you suggested, and it looks much better, thank you.

I’m confused as to why that worked, though, since the image I re-uploaded was 500px * 150px. Where did you get the 111px from?

    Thanks,
    Sarah

    Hi Rui,

I installed the upgrade on my main site and then had to roll it back because, while adjusting the dimensions of the logo worked as you recommended, suddenly the logo was no longer lined up properly. In the header format I’m using it’s supposed to be horizontally aligned with the menu items, but after the upgrade it started being higher than they were (and, weirdly, once I rolled back the upgrade, they now appear to be higher than they were originally).

Do you know why the logo/menu layout is not longer matching the header template?

    Thanks,
    Sarah

    Hi Kyle,

I might have been updating it when you tried? It’s live now.
I did some more digging, and forcing the height on the logo so that it looks correct on a desktop makes it look distended when in mobile view. Is there another way I can fix this?

    Thanks,
    Sarah

You shouldn’t need to force the height of desktop, there’s options in the theme options for the logo height, just use that, if that causes you any problems let me know and I’ll take a look
