    Hi Swift,

    My site has been blocked by Chrome as containing malware. I have spoken to my hosting supplier and their scans have come back clean. I have generated the TXT reports etc. in order to request a review. However the Google Webtools security page is still flagging a long list of errors, including something containing phoenix-credit, which Google search does not like at all.

    I last did a local backup of my site on 24/12/14. I have already deleted the site as of yesterday and re-uploaded the backup from 24/12/14

    Can you please assist, as I’m not a developer and my company is taking a big hit from this.

    Hi,

    I checked, and it says no malware and also it is not blocklist? http://sitecheck.sucuri.net/results/21scars.com/

    I suggest you to remove the theme files, and download the fresh theme files and upload it..

    Hi Laranz,

    Thank you for your reply. I had to act quickly for obvious reasons and so after speaking with my hosting company, I deleted the site from FTP again, re-uploaded and via a new install WordPress and of the Wordfence plugin, managed to isolate and delete the malware code.

    All seems to be working fine now and am scanning daily. Are there any other tips for preventing this kind of intrusion in the future?

    P.s. On a different subject, what is the multi-directional background you now have on the swiftideas home page and can this plugin be implemented into my Neighborhood theme?.. Would love to have that effect as a slider!

    Hi,

    Guess you just need to have some careful with the installation of new plugins.
    Besides that it’s difficult to prevent attacks, the hosting security it’s also important but it’s up with the hosting provider.

    Regarding the homepage of our Swiftideas.com site, that’s a Parallax asset that is only available at the moment in Cardinal and Joyn theme.

    Will forward the suggestion to the development team of having it in Neighborhood.
