Hi,
I’ve got a VERY odd bug that I haven’t seen in Dante client builds before. We’re rebuilding our own site, and the paragraph styling is appearing as links on a number of pages. (IE – multiple paragraphs are one massive block of link text) The weird thing is that it occurs on the first visit to a page, and on reload, it clears up the problem. This has happened on multiple devices that haven’t been to the url before, multiple browsers, so not a cache issue.
It is an intermittent problem, but I have caught it as both a screen grab and as saved browser source code of on of the affected pages – attached. (The bright blue is “link”, the red is link rollover, the paragraph text should all be white.)
It has happened on the home page of this site, and across the top menu – strategy, online marketing, and all the pages in its dropdown – social seo, etc. (disregard the big image links). You may have to visit a few pages for it to show up.
I have reinstalled both Dante and WordPress (update of already-current version). The problem doesn’t occur if I switch the theme, so it seems Dante-specific.
many thanks, Kurt

It seems fine at my side. Please check the attachment as taken in IE.
Thanks

It’s a very odd intermittent problem, and is definitely occurring – in FF, IE, Chrome and iPhone. You may have to go to all of the pages in strategies and online marketing to hit one that’s doing it.
I have not edited the Social Media id=28 page since I hit the fault on 3 different machines among a further 2 that I have seen it appear on today.
cheers, Kurt
December 4, 2014 at 10:01 am #133366Hi,
I am not getting this issue with any browser. Please make a test with another machine. Thanks
MohammadDecember 4, 2014 at 10:22 am #133374As I said, we’ve already tested it with 5 devices, multiple browsers each. I have just tested it on a ~further~ 2, and it’s still doing it – see the new attached pics. Again, it doesn’t happen on every page, and you will note different browsers do it on different pages.

1897 and 1898 are Chrome on OSX Yosemite
1899 is Firefox on Yosemite. These are in addition to the earlier machines with the issue.

Also note that 1899 actually shows 2 tones of blue. This is even odder – that’s the first time I’ve seen it do that – but it’s the first time I tested it on OSX Firefox.
December 4, 2014 at 12:19 pm #133413Hi,
I am not getting this issue at my side. Its only machine specific due to any browser addons or any software installed at your machine.
Thanks
MohammadDecember 4, 2014 at 1:03 pm #133428How can it be machine specific?
They simply don’t share the same browser add-ons or software. You’ve seen that in the grabs I’ve sent you.
I now have tested it on 9 devices – ~9~ devices, listed with all the browsers that show the bug. :
1. My PC on FF, Chrome, IE
2. My wife’s PC – FF, Chrome, IE
3. Our accountant’s PC – Chrome (didn’t try FF or IE)
4. My graphic designer’s who works from home – Chrome (didn’t get her to check another browser as she confirmed it enough, I thought)
5. My iPhone – safari.
6. My Wife’s iPhone – safari.
7. My kid’s PC – FF & IE
8. My Mac Mini on my TV – Chrome and FF
9. And just now – attached – Macbook Pro OSX Yosemite- Firefox…and ALL NINE are showing the bug on at least one of the pages on each of the ~15~ browsers listed above. Multiple devices are showing it on multiple browsers.
There’s clearly something wrong. Perhaps some others on your team could please load each of the following pages on their machines in FF / IE / Chrome – because I find one page out of these will show the problem:

The developer of theme will assist you shortly.
Thanks
MohammadDecember 4, 2014 at 7:00 pm #133570Hi there,
The issue doesn’t show in my browser either – but I assume this is because I have the latest versions which determine the error and fix it in some instances.
The cause of this is your code in the slider. If you see this screenshot here, you’ll see that the link you’ve added hasn’t been closed, and as such is open for the rest of the page content: https://www.dropbox.com/s/hbp1qxx8znc2jn9/Screenshot%202014-12-04%2018.58.57.png?dl=0
Add the closing tag for the anchor, and issue will be resolved.
Hope that helps.

December 4, 2014 at 11:53 pm #133613Thanks VERY much for that Ed. Please let me pay you for your time to fix what was an error of my own making.
On a side note – how would I set that top parallax area to be a fixed ehight, so the various testimonial slider heights don’t keep moving the page body beneath itup and down?
December 4, 2014 at 11:59 pm #133615Of course not – we’re more than happy to help.
For the fixed height slider, you’d want to add an extra class to the asset, such as “testimonial-parallax”.
Then you can add this custom css:
.testimonial-parallax { min-height: 650px; }

December 5, 2014 at 3:21 am #133636Thanks Ed.
However that height restrictor didn’t work. I applied it to 470px here:
http://www.zebidoodigital.com.au/ronindev/?page_id=16
but it’s still moving up and down within that size.December 5, 2014 at 3:31 am #133637I don’t see you custom css being applied – try moving to top as may be an issue with corrupted code in your custom css.
