    Hi,
    I’ve tried both gravity forms and WP User Frontend Pro.

    I create a form for users to submit a post. Very simple form. Title, Description and featured image.

    The post doesn’t show the featured image as the detailed media content until I manually click to edit the page, then click update. Then the featured image shows. However, I have made no edits at all to the page.

    Any idea what is causing this?

    Hi

    Not sure, maybe the plugin doesn’t properly assign the featured image as the detail media. I’m afraid we don’t support 3rd party plugins

    Hi, I understand that, but I think it is a theme issue.

    The 2 plugins are assigning the featured image fine. When I click edit page I can see the featured image. All I do is update the page. And then it shows.

    Not sure what’s happening there, will have to forward this to the developer, he might have a better idea

    I created a custom post type, and used a slightly different page template. See attached. Now it works..
