I want to change the title text in the accordion of the product page.
Where do I change that, in a way that if I ever need to upgrade WooCommerce, it keeps the changes intact?November 25, 2014 at 6:04 am #130738Hi,
Please copy that accordion file with same woocommerce directory structure from parent theme and paste at child theme. Here you can make changes easily. Thanks
MohammadNovember 25, 2014 at 7:24 am #130749Mohammad,
I tried two things:
-Copying the files under dante/woocommerce/single-product/tabs and editing them. Nothing changed…..-Adding a snippet to the dante-child’s function.php to rename the tabs (following these instructions: http://docs.woothemes.com/document/editing-product-data-tabs/) but nothing changes!
I’m a little lost, couple you please tell how to do this? I can’t seem to figure it out on my own…

I dont see any folder named woocommerce at child theme and child theme is not activated. Thanks
November 26, 2014 at 8:16 am #131201Actually, can we not worry about using the child theme? I’m sorry, you made me realize I wasn’t using it at all…
What is the simplest way to replace those two strings of text (“Description” and “Additional Information”) without worrying about using dante-child?
Thanks MohammadNovember 26, 2014 at 8:30 am #131208Hi,
Please open to edit sf-woocommerce.php at /dante/swift-framework/. Here you can find these text to edit.
Thanks
MohammadNovember 26, 2014 at 8:45 am #131224Ok, that kind of works… Two problems:
1) When I change the string Description to any word with a different amount of letters, it displays it surrounded by quotation marks in the website. Like this:
“Story”
Any idea how we could avoid it adding the quotation marks?
2) If I replace Additional Information with anything else, it renders my site useless; it won’t load.November 26, 2014 at 9:01 am #131235Hi,
I changed both of string without any problem so please check it now.
ThanksNovember 26, 2014 at 5:59 pm #131445I was using TextEdit and ftp’ing using FileZilla, and for some reason, that was screwing everything up.
I used my hosting FTP Manager and it works fine now, thank you.Could you help me create a new custom accordion section?
