Hi, I have an issue with one page navigation. I overrode the one page nav menu on the right and created a custom header menu using links, the same links to the ID’s I gave to the spacer bars, for example: http://localhost/crespoconsulting/#servicios (sorry I cannot show anything as it is running local)
Well, the issue goes like this: using the one page nav on the right everything goes OK, but when I use my custom created menu, the anchor points to the top of the page, and the content (the section title) is covered by the sticky header.
Is it possible that my custom created menu (made using the ID’s on the spacer bars and the links option in the menu editor) can behave the same way as your default one page nav menu on the right?
Sorry for my English, and thank you!

I am not getting you exactly. Its not possible to assist without watching the issue. Please make your site and inform me.
ThanksNovember 21, 2014 at 4:54 pm #130094I think I have mostly the same problem as in these two topics:
Both of the topics end assigning the issue to another topic but they don’t say where! And I cannot find the solution even surfing the topics!
Basically, my header menu (or main navigation) does not smooth scroll to the anchor, and it cuts the first lines of the section off (they are hidden by the sticky header).
Thank you in advance.

Try to deactivate all plugins and test again to discard any plugin conflict.Do you have any custom modifications? Are you using version 2.69?

November 22, 2014 at 4:56 pm #130234OK, after very little help from Mohammad and Rui and much useless fight against jQuery, we’ve come to the solution ourselves. It is DUMB simple.
We wanted to set up a custom menu on the header that could just do the same things that the one-page-navigation menu on the right does: jump to the anchors and do it smoothly (smooth scroll).
So, we set up each spacer with its own Spacer ID and Spacer Section Name, and then set up a custom menu using links: each link with its own URL and Navigation Label.
The result: this menu items jumped to the sections in such a way that “it doesn’t take you to the very top of that section. It cuts some of the words off” as it happened to @tsimarketing on this topic: http://www.swiftideas.com/forums/topic/one-page-navigation-problem/
It also did not scroll to the sections smoothly. @bongobong had mostly the same issue on this topic: http://www.swiftideas.com/forums/topic/one-page-nav-not-showing-smooth-scroll-issue/Actually, none of their sites do the smooth scrolling by now.
The error (at least in our case) is that when we set up the custom menu using links and entered the URL to the link we typed the whole URL: http://www.domain.com/#section
You don’t have to do that, even when the placeholder text shows http://
You just have to enter only the spacer ID with the hash: #sectionJust THAT SIMPLE.
November 23, 2014 at 11:30 am #130264SORRY, NOT SO DUMB EASY.
THIS ONLY WORKS IF YOUR WEBSITE HAS ONLY ONE PAGE!So we are keeping this menu only for the page we want to have one-page-navigation, and the rest of the website will have another menu, with the same items but their links will be absolute (http://www.domain.com/#section) instead of hash links to the anchors (#section).

We did what we could with the conditions you gave us.
Glad it’s sorted.-Rui
