    Hi,

I have run into yet another bug with Cardinals tabs unfortunately.

This time its to do with the Google map asset.

#1. Add a map asset into a tab and it will not load properly on the front-end

#2. You cannot add a map asset into a tab and then move it elsewhere like you can with other page builder elements. When you try to move it, it seems to select the entire tabs asset and move that instead.

Both are demonstrated in a screen-cast in the next post.

Edit: Just did another test on the same post linked in the private post – add a Google map element into an accordion and like the tabs asset, it does not load properly… So the bug is for tabs and accordion.

Can you try the maps issue again? Finally a solution that seems to work.
You have to stop finding bugs 🙂

    Thanks

That seems to have sorted it.

As for finding bugs, it’s getting a bit tiresome to be honest. Love the theme, but constantly hitting brick walls every day.

Needs to be more testing done before new updates are released and it would hugely cut down on the amount of support the theme requires.

    Thanks.

It’s not easy, with so many assets and options the combinations are huge. The major part of support it’s not related with theme issues.

    Thanks.

It’s a fair point. Support is fast and very good. I just feel updates are at times released ‘into the wild’ too soon and when you are dealing with production sites that is dangerous.

It might be worth creating a beta testing thread/group. So before releasing an update to the entire user base, have a few people try the upcoming release out on their test server first and see if they find any bugs.

    Hi Anthony,

It has been on the list for a while, just working out the best way to be able to distribute beta builds with feedback, and have a release schedule to work with.
