Ive decided to make my site responsive and I cant figure out why respond.css and the media queries wont work when I minimize the browser below 768px in IE 11. When I change the window size below 768px all my elements are all over the place.

Ive checked that its not due to the compatibility mode in IE and messed around with html5shim and respond.js, but its not that.
Ive also tried disabling all the plugins etc.
Could it be possibly to do with the version of bootstrap.css?

The responsive.css just isnt getting executed.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hi,

Just notice you don’t have the latest version of the theme.
Can you update the theme first so we can check that issue after the update?

    Thanks.

Ive just updated to 1.92 and still seem to have the problem.
I have done this locally and not live yet.
Ive tested it on IE9 and this seems to work.
IE 11 is definitely having trouble recognising the media queries in responsive.css
I understand that IE 10/11 have changed how the use media queries
and only support the ‘-ms-high-contrast’ media query.

Any help on a hack for this would be great.

    The latest is 1.93 version.

Can you check in Appearance-> themes click on the details of Neighborhood.

If it doesn’t work with the latest update, will check with the development team.

Its miraculously fixed itself. 2 days of investigation and I have no idea what Ive done to fix it.
It was probably a browser setting issue.

Humm, don’t think so I also saw the same as you in IE.
    Probably the W3Total Cache plugin.

    Glad it’s solved.
