  I used the Cardinal Themes Content Importer to get a base for my site. I’ve ended up changing page names & menus, but I cannot get any changes I make to slug names to save. I can click edit on the page or post page editor, type the new url friendly slug and click OK. At this point it appears to save and then once I click update, it reverts back to the old slug.

  This happens when I do the following:
  Edit a page or post created by the content importer.

  This does not happen when I do the following:
  Edit a page or post that I created.

  Any ideas why this could be happening?

  That’s odd, have you set your permalinks to the ‘post type’
