  Because the homepage has some errors that can be breaking several things.

  I commented out google maps in main theme’s functions.php, and temperatures return to home page google map, but mobile menu still does not work on all pages.

  I also commented out 2 additional google map lines in child themes’s functions.php, but mobile menu still does not work on all pages.

  This is related to the child theme modifications you have. You have dequeued several scripts of our theme causing abnormal behavior.

  Ahem, how about leaving the website as you found it? I left one plugin activated and settings displaying home page. You left the plugin de-activated and settings displaying posts.

  Apologies for that, forgot to activate the plugin and when I activated the Parent theme it change the initial page automatically.

  The issue is likely caused by either you or a plugin loading an extra instance of jQuery –

  <script type='text/javascript' src='http://forecast.fm/forecast/js/jquery.min.js?ver=4.0'></script>

  Please remove that. There is nothing wrong with the mobile menu in the standard theme.
