  So far this is the only “slowdown issue” that I have with Cardinal.

  The Galleries works with the original photos being resized with CSS/HTML or something like that… so the posts and pages with galleries takes too long to be loaded compared with others with only text and other kind of information.

  I already do the upload only of optimized images in Photoshop and I use a plugin to optimize them again… but, galleries with 50 or 100 photos being resize like that are tough to load properly.

  Single Images already offers the option to load thumbnails in medium or low resolution, but galleries don’t. So… how can I solve this?

  Hi,

  You are using lightbox to show images when they click, for that purpose it will take its original image too, that added more space to the page. So eventually it will become slow.

  I forward this to the developer to take a look at this issue.
