    Hi guys,

sorry to bother you again :+0

Could it be possible to pull the caption and description of the images to show in the lightbox.
I mean the text fields are existing for each image, that’s why I thought maybe it can be easily called in the lightbox.

I understood from the iLightbox plugin that there’s such an option and it offers a configuration page!?
Is it possible to integrate the configuration of the iLightbox in your theme!!!!!??
That would be great standout feature, in my eyes. If I modify the theme for clients the look of the design includes very often the lightbox. I find myself constantly changing lightboxes icons or styles and yes sometimes I need more than that: a description… ๐Ÿ˜‰

or! could it be done in the ilightbox.js file? It is a bit hard to understand the code when minified ๐Ÿ˜‰

thanks for your time and effort, again and again… ๐Ÿ™‚
    Z.

    Hi,

That’s not possible as standard. Will forward to development team so they can reply if it’s feasible or not.

    Hi Zapata,

We’ll happily provide the unminified file for you check if you need. We use the jQuery plugin rather than the WordPress plugin, so there is no configuration page as such.

Currently we support the caption field, but not description as i’m not sure it’s supported – will check for future updates.

    Hi Ed,

I can only see the captions, if I use the wordpress gallery shortcode!
In the Page Builder Galleries ELement, linking to a gallery all the items inside the lightbox don’t show caption? Do I miss something?

If you can provide the non-minified lighbox.js it would be great and I will search for a code snippet ๐Ÿ˜‰

    thanks
    Z.

As far as I’m aware that’s not possible with iLightbox.
