  Hi,

  I’ve recently launched the website, and had no real issues I couldnt solve but last night after a move from staging to live (I’m with WPEngine) I find the website loads ok, but scrolling is jerky and slow as hell in Firefox and Chrome?

  I’ve raised a ticket with WPEngine and they’re looking into it for me, but they’ve also said that the theme is generating some long queries and to raise it with the developers too?

  Any help guys?

  Can you get us any logs for the long running queries from your server?, so that we can check what we can do.

  Hi,

  I can ask for you, although is this something I can get from my dashboard or do I have to ask WPEngine?

  It does load fast, thats not the problem – its the experience once its been loaded, its really jerky when scrolling down the page

  Incidentally, its fine on staging? Just on Live its when the problems arise.

  I’ve just posted one (I think!!)

  Although I also think I’ve found the root cause of the problem, Cloudflare Rocket Loader!! I deactivated it and boom, back to full speed…
