Can you tell me how to go about building the Social icons and text in the Footer area? See the attached and see the bottom of this link – http://dante.swiftideas.net/

Is that using Shortcodes inside of WP’s Widgets? If so, how do I include the Shortcodes in Widgets?

Hi

You will have to copy the icon box shortcode and paste it inside a text widget in the footer area
