    Hello.

    While viewing my website gone live yesterday, a very tiny little detail caught my eyes.

    I inserted the flipping icon box shortcode on parallax so when it flips, the color within the box and the background is identical. While designing the site on my Macbook, the color seemed identical and I had no reason to doubt it since I inserted the same hex code on the theme customization page (accent) and on photoshop to make a pattern.

    But on my second display from Samsung, the color of the box is very slightly different from the background. I’m not even sure if you will be able to see it since it is so subtile on my Mac and quite visible on my other LCD.

    To resolve the “issue”, I was thinking about just defining bgcolor with extra class for the parallax but don’t know how to approach the coding.

    Please help?

    I believe the difference between the bg and the button may or may not show depending on your monitor and its calibration.

    I attach a screen shot but it’s so subtile, you really need to look at it closely to find the difference. I recommend AppleRGB if you’re using a Mac. You may see it more clearly.

    It is a big more visible on my Samsung LCD as I said earlier.

    The background for the row is an image? This isn’t an issue with the theme, as it wouldn’t be the cause of incorrect colours. I can only assume your image background isn’t the right colour.

    That is what I think. But I’m using the same hex code and tried with quite a bit of variety of RGB profile. Visibly, I am having difficulties to find the right color (profile). So I thought that the best idea would be to simply define a bgcolor instead of inserting an image on parallax shortcode. Would that be possible?

    Could be to do with the image quality when WordPress imports the image.

    You could do this custom css for that particular instance:

    .page-id-12998 .spb_parallax_asset {
    background: #1dc6df!important;
    background-image: none!important;
    }

    Thank you for your promptly support. But the codes you provided doesn’t seem to work on my parallax.

    Your custom css is broken, there is an extra close brace – https://www.dropbox.com/s/0bb6wrzznelf0ci/Screenshot%202014-08-26%2019.24.13.png?dl=0

    You were so right. I hate to make you work and find solution to my incompetence on website building. I am so happy with your support, I am almost tempted to buy Cardinal even if I have no immediate use for it. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Thank you so much.
