  When we go to the Theme Options > Blog Options, none of the layout options (mini, timeline, masonry, sidebar) are there. There’s also no option to turn off comments. Please see image attached.

  Note: We went to reading settings and set events page as the blog and then went to Blog Options to set the layout, but found layout options missing. Thanks for your help!

  UPDATE – I now see that you shouldn’t not use the normal reading settings to set the blog page, but rather use the blog element.

  I would say that a little note in those Theme Blog Options on where to set Blog Options would have been a great help. 😉
