    How do I make it semi-transparent and less off-set (it moves right and down too much).

    If I change the opacity to 0.6 this also effects the title and excerpt! Can I make the background transparent and not the text on top. I am sure it used to do this but I noticed this isn’t working anymore. Is it something I have done or was it part of an update?

    No need for CSS for the opacity, you change that in Theme Options > Portfolio Options

    There are no options for opacity in Theme Options > Portfolio Options section ….
