Using the Page Builder I created a Row with a Image Background, but I want to use the Overlay Mask over that Image. There’s an option for Video Backgrounds, but how do I enable for Image Backgrounds too?

    Thanks!

    Hi

It’s currently not possible to do for images, image and video backgrounds have a completely different structure, and we are only able to add overlays on the video backgrounds

So, please, PLEASE, consider this as a Feature Request. It’s a pretty and useful way to create static “Page Covers” instead of Sliders. I was using this in my project so far, I thought Cardinal offers too.

It’s a lot better than upload an image already with Color and Pattern Overlay, to guarantee the responsiveness without deform the art. And a great way to hide imperfections in big images with low resolutions too.

Consider the same for Fancy Titles, please, PLEASE, for the same reason! ๐Ÿ˜‰

PS: I was talking about the same thing here: http://support.swiftideas.net/forums/topic/fancty-title-wrong-aligned-with-left-and-center/

Right now I discovered a way to achieve this with Row ID + Custom CSS, until any official solution. I’ll post here later for other people who wants the same thing. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I notice that the row options now suggest that video and image overlays are possible, e.g:

If you would like an overlay to appear on top of the image/video, then you can select it here

However, neither the colour nor pattern overlays seem to work when overlaying an image. Is this a bug?
    I’m using Cardinal 2.03

We’ve fixed that for the next update, thanks for letting us know.
